Independent Liverpool

Launched in 2013, Independent Liverpool started as a just-for-fun blog created by best friends, Oliver Press & David Williams. They set out to change the way people saw and experienced Liverpool, showcasing the very best of independent culture in the city. The blog quickly took off and soon enough their recommendations, guides and hidden gems were being noticed by the people of Liverpool who looked to them for inspiration and guidance when hungry, thirsty or stuck for something to do.

The duo unknowingly created a platform of independent culture, highlighting the diversity the cities independent scene had to offer and encouraging locals to eat, drink and shop local all whilst exploring the city in a way which they have never done before.
